The Comfort StandUp is an electric toilet lift that stands freely over your own toilet. The seat lowers you gently to sit down and raises you again until you are standing. That way the lift supports the movement of sitting down and standing up, so your legs and arms have less work to do.

The lift is made for people who find it increasingly hard to get up from the toilet, and for partners and family carers who want to do less lifting. You operate it yourself with the button in the armrest. It is at the very end, right where your hand already rests.

No building work is needed. The lift runs on a battery, so it needs no socket and leaves no cable across the floor, and there is no drilling. It fits over most standard toilets. Not sure whether it will fit yours? Send us a photo of your toilet. You'll get a reply within one working day.

Will it fit your toilet?

The Comfort StandUp stands freely over your toilet and fits most standard toilets. These three checks tell you in advance.

  1. 64 x 48 cm of clear floor space

    That is the footprint of the frame. Measure the floor around your toilet.

  2. No fixed obstacles right beside the toilet

    For example a grab rail on the wall or a radiator. The legs of the lift stand to the left and right of the toilet.

  3. Seat height from 40 to 65 cm

    Within that range, you set the seat to the height that feels comfortable for you.

Fijne ondersteuning en meer zelfstandigheid

In Hospice Breukelen zijn we erg tevreden over de Comfort StandUp elektrische toiletlift. Onze gasten ervaren de stoel als prettig en comfortabel in gebruik. Dankzij de ondersteuning kunnen zij, zolang dat mogelijk is, zelf blijven opstaan en gaan zitten. Dit geeft hun een gevoel van zelfstandigheid en eigen regie, wat in de laatste levensfase ontzettend waardevol is.

Ook voor onze medewerkers is de toiletlift een fijne ondersteuning bij de dagelijkse zorg. We zijn blij met deze aanwinst voor ons hospice!

Returns

You have 30 days to decide in your own time, counted from the day after you receive the lift. The first 14 days are your statutory withdrawal period. From day 15 up to and including day 30, we take the lift back if it is unused and in its original packaging.

You receive a 2-year manufacturer's warranty, on top of your statutory warranty rights. If there is a fault, we assess and repair the lift at your home.

What does the Comfort StandUp cost and what exactly do I get?

The Comfort StandUp costs €899, including two batteries and a charger. Delivery is free. There is nothing extra to pay: no installation costs and no compulsory custom fitting.

How do I operate the lift?

With the button in the armrest. It lets you lower and raise the seat gently, at your own pace.

How is the lift powered?

By two interchangeable batteries. One charge is enough to stand up and sit down more than 110 times. While one battery is in the lift, the other charges. You do not need a socket or cable by the toilet.

What if the battery runs out?

You receive two batteries. If the battery in the lift runs out, you swap it for the charged spare and can carry on straight away. Charging takes about 5 hours.

When will I receive my order?

The Comfort StandUp is in stock. If you order before 12 noon, your parcel is dispatched the same working day. Delivery then takes 3 to 5 working days and is free. As soon as the parcel is on its way, you will receive an email with tracking details.

Will I get help with assembly?

The lift is assembled in about 15 minutes. Our service team helps by phone and with clear instruction videos. If you get stuck, a technician will come to your home.

The instruction video shows how you then place the lift over your toilet and operate it.

Can I return the lift if I'm not happy with it?

Yes. You have 30 days to decide, counted from the day after you receive the lift.

The first 14 days are your statutory withdrawal period. You may unpack the lift, set it up and try it out as you would in a shop. You do not have to give a reason.

Day 15 up to and including day 30 is an additional arrangement from MobiVital. During that period we take the lift back if it is unused and in its original packaging.

What warranty do I get?

You have statutory warranty rights: the lift must work properly for as long as you are entitled to expect of a toilet lift like this one. On top of that, you receive a two-year manufacturer's warranty. If there is a fault, we assess and repair the lift at your home.

Is the cost of the Comfort StandUp covered, for example through the Wmo?

We cannot promise that in advance. In certain situations the Wmo, the Dutch Social Support Act, can make support or a home adaptation possible, but your municipality assesses each person individually and sometimes a personal contribution applies. Contact the Wmo desk or the local social support team (sociaal wijkteam) of your municipality. On request, we will send you a product specification to take to that conversation.

Where is the lift made?

By our regular production partner in Croatia. The manufacturer works in line with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
